I didn't disagree with you. The point I was making is, it's not like people let loose dogs 20 years ago and then went back to get them. We're talking HUNDREDS of years ago, dogs escaped from settlers and Native Americans took them in and a new breed was created over time.

You made it sound like it all happened in 50 years or so, which is the point I was arguing. How long does it take before you consider dogs "wild" ?

I personally don't believe in dumping animals...but I think its something that cant really be stopped. I mean, lets face it, unless we effectively stop byb litters and euth unwanted dogs that are in the shelters...we will never be at a place where we can get a handle on issues like that.

oh. yeah i forgot to mention it happened forever and a half ago, i agree with you on that. which is why i edited my post and added that it happened a gagillion years ago. i didnt mean it to sound like it happened recently.. but i was saying that no matter what, dogs got loose, and survived
