No, I'm not saying that. But I'm also not on here one month saying oh man I really want to go 95mph in this 45 zone, but I know other drivers might report me, and if somehow I get caught I know I could lose my license. And then two months later saying guess what guys, I talked to the other drivers-they're totally okay with me going 95, so I did, woo hoo, but I did it in someone else's car so I wouldn't get caught.

I get that a broken law is a broken law, but let's be real. MJ is putting this dog's life in danger. How long before we read a post about multiple calls to AC from the neighbors and now a home has to be found for this one ASAP.

I'm happy to see dogs in good homes too. And I don't have any thought in my mind that MJ isn't providing a good environment for this dog-minus the whole over the limit & shitty neighbors bit. It seems like MJ thought about this, realized it wasn't a good idea, and then said fuck it-I'm going to get what I want.


Let us see what AC see says when MJ says this to them. I agree, MJ sounds responsible...but actions are starting to speak louder than words.

I can't give you a straight yes or no answer here. I'm guessing if I were part of chi forum and the same situation happened-yes. I'd like to believe if even on here the story were exactly the same with the exception of the chi/pb switch I'd feel the same way...would I say something? Probably not, wrong or right chi's don't pull at my heart like PBs do. And I have a feeling the neighbors would have less of a problem too, which limits the risk, which is the part that really bothers me. MJ is intentionally putting this dog at risk.

Well, that lets me know right there how much you think of yourself. But to answer your question I consider both myself and my husband to fit the description.

I wouldn't rehome her. Period. I think a dog is for life. I have spoken with AC and with the Ordinance Dept. Both said the reason there is a limit is that there were issues with people not picking up the poop in their yards and it getting to the point where it was so filthy and smelly their neighbors complained. The city decided limiting the number of dogs would limit the poop problems. Yeah, didn't make sense to me, either.

I am not the only person on my block with a 4th dog. The other neighbor who has a 4th did get a visit from AC because another neighbor, who has since sold her house and moved, made a noise complaint. The dog owner got told she had one too many dogs, got a ticket for the 4th not being licensed and the AC officers left. That was about 4 years ago. She still has 4.

IF someone called, I wouldn't get a ticket because as soon as Renee is old enough to be rabies vaccinated and licensed she will be. And AC cannot take her as long as she is licensed, not part of an "incident" and not at large.

I was worried because I know some people can be dicks, but when I discussed her with all of the people on the street I was surprised they were supportive and complimentary. They actually noticed I supervise, train, and keep my dogs contained so they said they have no problem. Part of it is they are usually out socializing when I am walking the dogs and part of it is that the people on the block are Pit Bull friendly because they either own one or know the ones the rest of us own. Not to mention every one of them also has between 2-3 dogs with the exception of the lady who has 4. I had some problems with a few neighbors a while back, they either sold and moved, got foreclosed and moved, found out we grew up together,didn't remember each other, and their Aunt is my Godmother (Hey, Doug!).

I hope we can buy a new house and sell this one within 6 months, but if we cannot I will just keep her licensing up to date and move when we can.

absolutely NOT true. The pissin and moanin by the fur mommies about this site and game-dog are part of the reason that i left there.

My city has a 3 dog limit as well. And guess what? I've got 4 dogs in my house (although one isn't mine, it's my room mate's) AND MY NEIGHBORS KNOW.

All 4 dogs are UTD on shots, on heart worm and flea preventative, the poop gets picked up, and I make sure they don't make too much noise.

Hop off your pedestal and go elsewhere.

You all can name call and try to tell me to take a hike, but it's not gonna happen. If people keep posting that they're doing dumb shit and putting their dogs in dumb positions then I'm going to keep pointing it out. And Robyn, you can suck it.

Like I said earlier besides this I don't doubt the dog is taken care of properly, never once did I say anything about shots, preventatives or cleaning up the yard. All I'm saying is:
1. Initially this seemed to be a bad idea, until desire took over reason.
2. The neighbors sound really shitty and untrustworthy.
3. Bragging about not following the law is foolish, and adds more fuel to the fire about PB owners being bad. Not only could this info be used against MJ...but think about all of the less than responsible owners out there who are reading this...not necessarily replying but reading it...and sharing the info.
