So, umm..yeah. I took a pup.
 

We named her Renee. She's 8 weeks old and brindle and white. Super energetic and super smart when she manages to focus for a few seconds. I talked to the all neighbors about it before I got her and they said they don't care since I have proven that my dogs are cared for, trained, contained and controlled and they know I scoop the poop. We're working on moving as soon as we can. Its a matter of buying a new house and selling this one, so it could be a while. Since we have the stupid 3 dogs limit I am registering her license in the name of a longtime friend so she can be all legal just in case someone decides to say anything. The story will be I am dog sitting since I can legally do that. Renee is the last chance I have to own a dog from her parents as she is from her sires last litter and I couldn't live with myself if I passed her up. The hubby, surprisingly, is very happy about her and willing to move for a few reasons, but mostly her. He named her after Rene Magritte, a surrealist painter because he says having two APBT is kind of surreal as he used to think of Pits as "ghetto dogs" and all the other crap that the GP tends to think about the breed.

Ike ignores her as he doesn't much like babies until they are big enough to play rough. Rita, as always, is doing the surrogate mommy thing. Owen, being only a year old, thinks having another pup around is awesome and they are inseparable.

This makes me unhappy. I'm glad you got what you wanted but you're basically admitting to breaking the law. You're not allowed to have more dogs, yet you get another one and put it in someone else's name to cheat the system, and to top it off you're putting it all out there on the internet for everyone and their brother to read.

Everyone breaks laws they don't agree with. Are you saying you have never went above a speed limit?

If the dog is being taken care of and neighbors don't care, I'm happy to see it in a good home.

Congrats!! and anyway (for the haters), most number limits don't count till the dog is 6 months. So she has a while to move, anyway! And I agree... WHERE ARE THE PICTURES!?!?!?!? NOT FAIR!!
