Just wanted to say Happy Gotcha Day to my wonderful pooch Sasha. Actually its a belated Gotcha day. I don't know why but I thought I adopted her April 13, 2008 but my husband informed me it was actually April 10th. She was my birthday gift that year. I had been wanting another dog for awhile and I had my eye on her for some time and he finally surprised me as my birthday gift to inquire on her and if she seemed like a good fit and what I was looking for, then Happy Birthday. I still remember that cute, timid, fat little puppy I brought home that night. The storms that scared her that night and she wormed herself into our bed over them. How she refused to look at the camera for photos and now she is a total camera hog. How I couldn't be blessed with a better pooch. I still don't know how anyone could have thrown this wonderful dog away. Just leave her and her sister and mom at that dumpster. Well they didn't derseve her.

So anyway I just wanted to say Happy belated Gotcha Day to the birthday gift that can't be topped. My sweet Rescue mutt, the pooch that changed my life and opened my eyes to not only the world of rescue but to the world of all dogs and taught me to accept all dogs regardless of breed. Thank you Sasha for rescuing me on April 10, 2008.
