I just got a call from my nine year old niece, telling me her and her friends found a litter of new born puppies under a trailer, two of them dead.

So guess what I'm doing in two hours, when I get off work?

I have mixed emotions. If the puppies are as young as my niece implied, and they have already been so exposed to the elements that two have died, there may not be much I can do for them.

Then if they are healthy and I'm able to keep them stable and help them thrive, I have several weeks of little poopy puppies to look foward to!
