LOL Actually her name came from Police Academy as well from a character from a movie Miss Molly Mahoney. And that was her name when I got her last month. I wanted another Harry Potter name like my puppy Padfoot but she already knew her name well and its different so I liked it. Her new name is Mahoney Despair but I calls her Mahoney Baloney lol

I trip over their toys all the time but first time I injured myself. But the swelling is down this morning and took the lone Lortab I had left and I am a bit better.

I havent stepped my bare foot in poo yet...but I have known thats its coming eventually lol

Hope you'll be ok - what what I understand sprains can be more painful than clean breaks ... but it's good you're getting it checked out!

There is a hard knot sticking out of the side of my foot, right over a vein. Scared it might be bone or a blood clot. And there is a bruise on the knot. Nothing even touched my foot there so its a bit concerning.

An acquaintance tripped over his cat and broke his leg a few years back. His being a drunk probably was a contributing factor.

My pups always underfoot, I'll probably take a tumble eventually myself.

The toy was a big heavy duty rubber one, bone shaped and looked like tire tread...cool as hell. I got it for Paddy as a gift for getting fixed and being locked in his crate. Well, he slammed it all night long and it made a horrible sound. So I took it out and threw it on the hall floor Fri. Well, Mahoney moved it. A friend came by and I was a little "buzzed" and I am a naturally born walking disaster.....so you can imagine the rest LOL So I step on the damn thing, left foot bends inwards and down I go right into the wall. My late mum called me Grace - cuz I had none LOL (thanks mum lol)

Ok, so I am finally back from the ER. I had broken my foot in April for a pre-bday party LOL I dont remember doing it but then again, I dont remember the whole entire month since we celebrated for about 45 days in a row lol So the next day it was black and had a hard knot on the side of the foot, on the outside part. Got pretty big but eventually it scaled down to a little dot under the skin. Well, Fri when I twisted it...next morning, not only was my ankle swollen but the knot came back, my foot changed colors around it and it was much bigger and painful...though my foot never got injured there Fri. Dr said the injury from the ankle sprain (which is a bad one) reinjured the old break and the knot was actually a developing tumor...sometimes non cancerous, I have had them before...one in my chest that did have cancer and it was causing breast cancer and one in my stomach but didnt have cancer. But being I am dealing with cancer for a 3rd time, I am a little concerned but I need to see an ortho and have it removed. So they wrapped my foot and I have to wear a special shoe for awhile and look like a total tard for awhile ha ha

I think my kids are trying to bump me off LMAO Nah, I just need to learn I am not living alone anymore and my kids dont pick up their crap when they are done playing. In fact, I fell over that same damn toy two more times this weekend in the bedroom this time LOL Hell, when I first got Paddy...I stepped on his feet several times and hurt him, tripped over and and thought one his leg was broken. They are always underfoot so I trip over them too. A day in the life of pet ownership....I forgot what it was like having a pet after being petless since 2006.

Damn I'm sorry that sucks. Hopefully you can get it fixed and have no more tripping over toys. Nearly impossible with dogs.

The best is tripping over a beef femur in the middle of the night.

In terms of sheer pain from a dog toy, I have to go with Sinead dropping a Galileo bone on my face to wake me up.
