... if everyone is like the people I meet.
I am so lucky I have good neighbours. The other day me, my friend, my neighbours and Juno (our APBT) went for a walk around the neighbourhood. And we came across other neighbours and they were like "hey I know this dog, it's for fighting right?" and patted Juno immediately. They know how harmless pit bulls are to people. The other day in a pet store, the pet store owner was complimenting about pit bulls when I came in. Then another old man came into the store and started a hype about Juno. He began to ask a lot of question about her and patted her. The two old men discussed about how an APBT is often misunderstood and how friendly they actually are. They held me back, gave me great discounts on the products and we had a good talk. It's really a rare opportunity to find people like these. They know their facts and I am just glad that they liked Juno. ![]() Mind sharing your experiences? ![]() Juno, a very happy princess. (we're at a tennis court mind you, and she's never chained. she lives inside the house) |

..if dog fighting would be a legal sports.
![]() By then there would be a dogolympics then would have sports for different dogs. The competition and quality of bulldogs will be in its height and every dogman will be happy! Dogman should have a license and a permit and all of that.. so government could tax and monitor aswell. If that happens.. there would be dogs that would represent different countries. Dogolympics! ![]() |

well I have not met many negatives about Goren, I do not call him an APBT because he is not one, I say he is an AST and if they say "thats a pitbull right" I just agree and say "yea pitbulls are not a breed a characteristic blah blah blah" but either way, even if they don't want to pet my mirror coated boy (yes his coat shines that much now hehe) then they normally stop and chat if they are dog people, I have never heard a person talk bad about the breed but it might be because they don't want to hurt the "sweet little girl's feelings" (I look like I am about 16-18 but am 24 so go figure haha) so I don't get bad talk, just people walking the other way sometimes, but if they walk my way and I say "hello" they say "hello, beautiful dog" and that makes me pretty happy hehe, I have also never had someone say he is to skinny (but they might think he is a boxer or something since many people think that) I think though if I had a purebred 30-35 lb APBT it would be another store (I want one one day though, I love my big 65lb lug but I would not mind a dog in the standard >.
