What's sad is that eventually, these dogs won't be able to function due to their physical characteristics. Looking at their hips, swayed backs, weight, and basically everything else, when they are older they won't be able to move at all. It's pretty sad.
Athletic ability? Lol, I'd like to see some of these dog's athletic abilities... 13" tall and 95 pounds?? I don't see how a dog that size could do anything athletic. I've looked at a lot of these types of breeders and I find a lot of commonalities between them that are pretty pathetic. The "thug" or "hood" appearance that a lot of these breeders personify leads me to think of dog fighting, or overly aggressive dogs. I don't see why anyone would want that. Yeah, I want my dog to be protective of me, but what happens when your overly aggressive dog attacks your 7 year old child? All of a sudden your muscle bound, steroid looking midget dog isn't so cool. |

What the standard calls athletic ability, the breeders call just bein able to walk around the ring. I've owned/raised/shown APBTs and now I have the bullies and it makes me sick the POS dogs I see winning the shows when some really nice dogs are getting walked by. Not only that but some of these dogs rear legs are perfectly strait like they walk with broken legs.
