Just got the DNA test back and you were right on the money! He is 3 things: Lab, APBT, and English Pointer. I totally see the pointer now that I have looked at pictures of them. Thanks for the input!

What DNA test did you have done? All the DNA tests I have ever looked at didn't have AST or APBT listed as a breed they tested for. I would like to see what Mater is...

Any suggestions on what he is mixed with? Definitely has pit bull in him because of his build, but I have no idea on the rest!

Honestly I have a hard time seeing pit bull in him, but he is ADORABLE. Love his markings. He is a keeper!

those big blue eyes my my heart melt!!! idk why but somethin about him looks like he could have some beagle or some kind of hunting dog type... but yet i could be TOTALLY wrong... haha

His mom was a yellow lab/shepherd mix (they saw her at the shelter), so he definitely has a bully breed in him. He doesn't take after the lab at all!

I personally don't see anything bully in him... not yet anyways. I would say Catahoula mix as well or if his mom was a shepherd... Aussie shepherd mix.

It's so hard to tell with puppies, it'll be a lot easier to take a better guess when he's full grown.

I think he's freaking adorable though! Hell he could be mixed with a chupacabra and I'd still take a long cuddle nap with him.
