Ok, so this morning - I got an email from a congressman.. he said he heard of the story of Bandit and seen the pictures and it was clearly a pitbull attack and wanted to know where the dogs were. So, I googled this congressman and hes not even from my state.. but hes trying to get a pitbull ban passed where he is.. I get the feeling he's wanting to use to Bandits story and pictures to help pass his bill. So, I emailed him and told him our vet said he had puppy strangles and absessed boils.. but was not from a pitbull attack was from abusive owners!!! and I made myself clear that I would in no way help him on his bill. that I personally disagree with his belief and would love for him to come meet my dogs.. I told him he is punishing alot of good dogs and people for a few idiots.. and that if he truely believed they were so dangerous - then he should get one himself and use his own story... but that he probably wouldn't do that because he would end up in love with the breed and he couldn't risk that (fighting to ban them then loving one himself).. I also informed him if I found out he used his pictures for his ban, I would notify every media I could about it.. because bandit was abused by his owners.. its not proven to be by another pitbull!!


Maybe I handled that wrong.. I don't know, but Ill be damned if he uses Bandit's pictures to help pass his ban..
