Ok, Im not sure if I should be sharing this yet or not.. I just got an email from a rescue that had the HS investigate the previous owners of Bandit.. She said.. shes been driving by there almost everyday and on several occasions has seen 3 adult dogs with no water or food (the water bowl tipped over same position everytime) and only one dog house.. she said when we had that severe storm - none of the dogs had shelter. she thinks their neighbor has caught on because hes been watching them drive by and he went and removed the pups from the yard and put them on his porch, but then they was gone again so she thinks they are looking out for their neighbor (this is the same neighbor that called us acting all worried for the pups).. She said the investigator was going to go to the door but then HS had seized 27 dogs from a hoarder in Franklin Co that belong to 75 yr old lady who cant care for them. there were 2 small pens with little pet taxies for dog houses and the whole area was just covered in mud, poop and water green. few dogs died already. so that it was being postponed for now but that he HS director assured her they would get right back on it.

so MAYBE something will be done.. atleast I am not the only one to see this crap.. she was kind of sickened by the way they are..

At least it's being investigated. They probably would have taken them if it weren't for that pesky old lady.

I hope they do.. people like that dont deserve to have dogs. I do think Ill have to meet them over there.. she asked me in a previous email if id be willing to meet them there on the day they go.. sigh, Ill do it if it means getting them dogs away from them.. ( i think shes thinking they might do more if the person who filled the report shows up to make sure somethings done.. ) I dont know her reasons though, but none the less.. whatever it takes!

You should definitely meet with the person before hand to talk it over and find out what's going to happen. You don't want to show up there with the lady doing the investigation, just for her to decide everything's fine after all and leave.

I doubt that will happen, theyve already been out to the house twice and talked to the people.. so I am assuming if they didnt think something was up - they'd have dropped it by now.. they are probably wanting either A - more on them or B - sound proof! (which I am sure, she did not say so, but I am sure, shes taking pics/video's)

It just seems like one of those situations where the douche bags would luck out during an inspection.

Definitely round up some big scary men AND make sure they'll actually do something.
