Default Teeth Size Matters???
I'm not sure abotu everyone else, but for some reason, everyone that we encounter on our walk that shows an interest towards my dog seems to always ask "how big are his teeth?" Why is that? Funny thing is, when I show them his teeth, they always say my dog's teeth is small. Apparently, his canines should be a minimum of 1 1/2 inches in length and no pure bred apbt will have smaller teeth than that??? I've never heard of this before LOL. I'm wondering, does anyone else get this question?

Not really the teeth question but the BYB questions lately.
Here is the latest from our walk this morning.
BYB wannabe: "Is it a girl?"
Me: "Yes"
BYBWB: "Beautiful dog, I have a male for her, they will make nice pups"
Me: "She is spayed"
BYBWB: "You can put a muzzle on her"
Me: "No, thank you"

I guess being spayed means being aggressive and snappy

No one asks about Lucy's teeth, Everyone's too scared of her these days.

Although, her teeth are freaking BIG.

Get used to the general public coming up with about anything when it comes to Pit Bulls.

The breed is an urban legend now and many different groups of people love to throw around terms and "truths" about the breed that satisfy some need to sound knowledgeable and "in the know" about the breed.

Funny you should bring this up, my girl's adult teeth just came in and boy they are huge, I'm trying to figure out if her mouth will grow into them or if they are just going to be like that.

Measure them! An inch and a half according to my ruler is gigantic, don't think my dobes or GSD's had anything close to that.

Well they ain't no inch and a half or nothing and maybe they look bigger because she's small but geez, and they're really thick... do y'all think bloodlines might have something to do with it?

Lucy's almost 2, and I can still hear her teeth grind together when she closes her mouth.

RealDawgs, I've never heard anything about "comformation of teeth." lol
I'd say they are like people, all of them are different when it comes to teeth.
Bransen has big teeth.

Emmetts teeth are average, I guess? I have never measured teeth. I do know my GSD mix and my coonhound have BIG teeth, bigger than Emm's. But Emmett just got his adult teeth, so maybe they are still growing???
This is one of the strangest topics I have ever read
