Poor Ace. http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/frown.png Atleast you are trying to get through to her. http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/hug.gif Sometimes even our friends can be stubborn when we just want what's best. http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/no2.gif

wow. I guess your friends are gonna wait until Ace Kills another dog - before they "get it." It's sad, because Ace is doing Nothing wrong, but if/when something Really bad happens, he will be the one that gets blamed.
If I were Bear's owner, I would have made damn sure the dogs were seperated (or took Bear home) after the 1st scuffle. Were Bear's injuries bad? I do not trust the people in my neighborhood or people in general to know how to manage their dogs. I feel the same way. When I walk my dog, I am always in fear of an off-leash, or stray dog running up on us. It would be so nice 2 walk him without being paranoid the entire time. |
Some people never learn. They are of the its-all-how-you-raise-them camp. I got a friend who has an 8 month old, 75 lb "bully" type pit bull who thinks that our dogs should get together in his backyard to play. I have told him time and time again that it's never going to happen but he thinks I'm being paranoid.

That does stink... bad situation, idiot people who think "it will never happen to me" http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/no2.gif
I'm just glad you were there and had your break stick on you! Otherwise, it could have been a very bad ending for both those dogs, and your friend would have lost more than just a good friend. You'd think she would "get it" after seeing what happened. I don't get people sometimes. http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/frown.png |
