Saw the most beautiful American Pit Bull Terrier Puppy today

I saw the absolute sweetest and beautiful fawn and white colored American Pit Bull Terrier puppy today out on the walking trail. She was solid fawn but she had a white mask I guess you could say. She was maybe 5 months old and her owner was teaching her to sit and stay and just walk on the leash well. Well its amazing how many smaller dogs we saw trying to get into scuffles with other dogs, but my husband said "I'm willing to bet that pup will just walk on by, unlike those dogs." And indeed that pup walked on by and didn't even notice the barking dogs, she was so focused on her master. When I passed by I was sure to tell him how beautiful his dog was and I walked away I said to my husband that she is going to grow up to be a wonderful dog.

It was nice to see that this dog was in good hands.

It sure is alot better than seeing them with those guys who have a 2" chain with a padlock on a six month old pup!

i'm glad she's in good hands. and NOT some irresponsible asshole who has NO business owning this breed.

The heavy chain with padlock is throwned on the pups neck to bulk/make it stronger. They don't realize it only hurts them.

I wish I did too she was a beautiful dog. At first I was a little hesitant to say anything to the owner because he looked kind of rough, but we came across them a few times on our walk and just had to say something. Turns out he really loves the breed, and always has had the breed and always will have the breed. He said his goal for her was to just be a good family dog. It just made my day.

I'm serious I really don't understand why anyone would want to make such a wonderful, happy human loving dog, a great family dog and turn it into a fighter/killer?

If I see a good looking/acting dog, I'll compliment the owner on their dog. I don't really take into account what the owner looks like, honestly, cause I know there have been times where I looked like CRAP walking MJ, lol.

I just feel it goes to show looks can be deceiving, I mean he reminded my of some guys I knew back in school in looks that were all about their pits being able to beat anybody elses pits any day. But I was pleasantly surprised. I guess I learned a lesson that day as well. Not to judge a book by its cover that is

In all seriousness, I think people see us and wonder if I have control over him.
