Yeah, I want another one. For a few reasons. Number 1: I have time for two. Number2: I'm so in love with the breed. Number 3: My boy loves to play and would love to have someone who can handle his "enthusiasm". There are more reasons... but I am waiting til I move. My new house is so perfect for my dog and would be perfect for one more

go see him spend a little time around him see if you can take your current dog with you and do a introduction see how things go. I would not necessarily take him home the first day but spend some time with the dog see if you can walk him play some ball things like that if nothing else you will know you gave it a shot. I went and spent time with several dogs before I decided on Abby I walked them and played ball with some I did not take them home but I did help the rescues and the dogs out by walking the dogs and spending time with them

I don't think you would be allowed to adopt him. They are very picky and sometimes less knowledgeable of the breed. I have been turned down multiple times because of various reasons. Once because I already owned a dog. And again another time because I had a child, they stated that they wouldn't adopt out to a home with a child under 5 and still turned me down with my daughter being 5 and she doesn't live with me. I have quit looking at that site.

Thanks Chevy. I have actually worked with that rescue before. I was looking at a puppy a while back but was not really in a position to adopt. They are very nice and knowledgable. Even if they say no, that's ok. That means it wasn't meant to be. If God wants me to have another dog, it will happen. ![]() |

She is so great... and her ears are so adorable! It's like radar! We are going to take it slow. I'm moving into a house at the end of the month... so we are gonna let my dog Bubba adjust to that... and we are going to take them on some play dates... then do crate and rotate when we bring her home for a week or so... and go from there... I can't wait to see how they are together... her personality reminds me so much of my little guys!

For what it's worth, I have two females. Mollie is definitely the more "aggressive" one, even though she and Bella have not been in a fight yet, she puts Bella in her place and lets her know she is queen bee. But, I always supervise them, never leave them alone together, not even when I jump in the shower real quick, Bella comes into the bedroom and the door is shut. With close supervision, always being on guard, having a break stick, and always intervening when play time gets too rough, you can handle it. Just know that you will have to crate them when you are gone, and you may have to crate them when you're home, if they end up not being able to get along. I always crate Bella when I leave the house, and Mollie has free run... not that she does anything but lay on my bed and sleep when I'm gone, but she is still loose in the house, but Bella is always crated.
