Bodacious Putting the Pit in HosPITal

Bodacious did her first official therapy visit at the hospital yesterday. The lobby/waiting area was packed and everyone there wanted to see her and say hi http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/s...happydance.gifbefore we could even get up to the floors we visit.

She was absolutely thrilled because she is a complete attention hog. I don't know what was going faster her tail or her tongue.

Just when I thought I exposed her to everything possible, she of course found something new to explore. Bodacious was totally fascinated that she could see under the beds and was a riot to watch peeking under them. I have a platform beds so there is not room under it.

When we got home, I think she is still perplexed about what could possibly live under those beds, and why I wouldn't let her go under them to find out...http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/dunno.gif

THANKS!

I've taken very very limited picts while on visits. I do wish I had more.

LOL everyone always wants picts when I post about the visits, but you have to remember, I'm working them.
I always joke that the dogs need to have someone come with me to be the "pup"arazzi, but that actually really would help LOL.
I have a goofy one of her in the lobby by herself, but was trying to get something better before I post one.

The place I go most is the hospital. Thus, most aren't thrilled about picts since they usually aren't looking their best, & may have iv's or other such things. Also think about it, hospital gowns are not too flattering.
In the hospital, we also have to worry about getting releases signed.

Maybe hand out a card with your email address on it so if any visitors happen to get pics while you are working your dog that they can send them along to you. Could you allow your dog to do an army crawl under the beds?

I've had people send me picts of them from cell phones, but nothing really post worthy because the picts are of just the dog and not the actual work for the reasons I already listed.

There are some picts up of Steel working up on the forum if anyone wants to take a peek:

Could you allow your dog to do an army crawl under the beds? I could but won't because you never know what was dropped under them and lots of times equipment is also around the the beds. So, watching out for fallen medication and being careful around the IV tubing would be a concern.
