i have been looking at tons of threads talking about game bred apbts and many different opinions and i want to clear up my outlook on this. ok as for me im fairly new to this forum so my input may not matter one way or the other. i have owned a few apbts and i love them to death the breed is amazing. but could i say i have a game breed apbt? idk it seems to me it depends on what game bred means. as for game bred as far as bloodlines from the dogmen then i would say my dogs are probly not game bred. how would you define game? could you really say that it would have to be measured in a pit? game from what i have picked up is when a pit is under extreme circumstanes and its willingness to finish what has been started with its drive and determination. but those odds wouldn't have to be against another dog would they? imho i dont believe its all about bloodlines and matches. i dont think how people used to match dogs are wrong as i have never done so but think that the dogs were great and treated good. but i do believe it is all in what a pit is game for as to what makes it a game dog or not.
