This is River my rescue dog. She is a little over 2 years old. Her mom looked just like her. What do you think she is mixed with if anything? Do you think she looks more Ambully?

I was maybe thinking dogue de bourdeaux probably not but she does kinda look ambullyish.

She's gorgeous whatever she may be!!

Staffordshire Bull Terrier maybe? I am no expert but the head just reminds me of them.

Actually, dog de bordeaux sounds very right! We had one named Cooper at my work and their faces are very similar.

He is a she! Doesnt matter how much pink she's decked out in almost everyone who stops to say hello on our walks calls her "he"! She definatly looks more like a he then a she with that face.

Thanks everyone who commented I kind of thought somewhere there may be some Dogue de Bordeaux. She isn't very tall or big but her face reminds me. We were at the auction last weekend and a guy comes up to us with the typical line that you get at least once no matter where you go "what kind of pit is that?" I gave him the what do you mean what kind of pit? He started to "educate" me

. He has a staffie and theres the red nose and the blue nose. I gave him a quick, basic education lesson on "pits" and I guess he didn't like being schooled so he said well she has a funny shaped head. I tried but he was hopeless so I said your head kind of has a funny shape too and walked away.

Hey! River was my screen saver for a while! I think she looks like she has some Boxer in her. So adorable!!
