Default Bubba's Missing
Bubba got out today and we cant find him. We have been driving around, walking around, knocking on doors and calling his name since we got home. We are both so upset- please say a prayer that we find him safe and sound and can bring our boy home- even Mika is just laying on the groud sighing- we miss our boy. Thank you.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!

our neighbors had been gone all day and just got home, they saw all of our lights on (we left every lt possible on just in case) and walked in our house "sorry, i know its late, but did you by any chance lose your dog today?" i literally dropped the food I had just made and started crying. Bubba is home safe and sound, but the story gets even better...

i guess bubba wandered into their backyard (they have a golden retriever) and the wife saw him and asked her husband to come outside (bubba looks intimidating as hell if you dont know him)- the husband came outside and at first bubba was intimidated by him but quickely warmed up. he spent the entire day playing with their family and their dog. They told me they were going to post signs tomorrow but if no one claimed him, they would have kept him in a heartbeat, even though they normally would not want "this kind of dog"- so not only is our boy home safe and sound, but while we were worried sick about him, he was changing the minds of two people who love animals but had a bad image of pits.

thank you for all of your positive thoughts. it has been a long emotional day. i am off to sleep with my TWO babies

So glad you found him!

I used to have nightmares that a neighbor kept my lost animal. I had the most gorgeous blue point siamese kitty who just loved everyone, and I would dream that he got out and someone picked him up, and I would endlessly circle the neighborhood hearing him meow in someone else's house! Whew!

Glad your neighbor found him, took care of him, and brought you back together.

Glad you found him. I would suggest getting him microchipped (if not) and if itever happens again. Post flyers, give them to all the Vet's offices in your area, animal control, and gas stations.

We had a dog missing in our area once. The family owned a printing company. The posted those signs (like election signs) on every corner in town. And everyone knew about the dog.

6 months later they found him and he was returned.

thanks for all the well wishes guys. he is microchiped (did that the day we rescued him)- my biggest fear was that he was going to get attacked by a coyote because there are a lot around here. and i was in the process of printing off flyers when the neighbor came over. thank goodness this was a happy ending story and we have our boy back home he just crawled into my lap as if to say "mom, snuggle me and get off the silly computer." so that is what i am going to do!

Oh Thank goodness!!

I even hate to open posts that I know are going to depress me; but I saw you posted last, and thought, "Oh maybe he was found"!

So I opened the thread and he was found!!!

I'm so glad he's back safe and sound. (And apparently he has a new friend for playdates. )
