Default Boudreaux (free puppy)
Just read on craigslist that a free 7 mth old Boudreaux dog is up for adoption. Now, I have no idea if the person has paperwork on this dog but I was wondering what you all know about these dogs. I've read good and bad about the kennel and just wondered if anyone here has 1st hand knowledge of this line.

Thanks!

x2. Since it is Craigslist I bet its a sale and not an adoption. and then we have the real problem, what type of people sell dogs on craigslist? And why do people even bother with that site?

No reputable breeder advertises on craigslist.... stay away. Just another byb bred dog.

The guy had it for $50 and then listed as free. Says he cannot keep it. He said he got it in Louisiana. No idea why on craigslist but I get tons of stuff from there. I got Cash on there and my most recent female - Ana. We picked her up yesterday.

Then get it... but I can almost assure you that dog is not a pure Boudreaux dog. It would not be given away to any jackass with $50 on craigslist...but if you want it get it... add it to your pack of rescues if thats what you are wanting.

He said he got it in Louisiana. .
there are a lot of people in Louisiana that sell supposed Boudreaux dogs i would ask him to email you a copy of the pedigree and then post it on here

its probably a dog that has some Boudreaux dogs in it 3 or 4 or more generations back that hes is calling a Boudreaux dog

Yeah, I called him and asked if he had any paperwork and he said no. I asked if the dog gets aggressive with other dogs and he said "No, but he defends himself." I asked how he knew the exact bloodline and he said "I know the parents." I don't know...could be true. But more than likely, not. I don't need another intact male anyway but I was interested for a quick minute. I just added another female..no more for me.
