Helena's ACL surgery Update!
 

Helena's surgery was yesterday. It was a success she had no other cartlidge damage and no arthritis! http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/biggrin.png Shes sleeping on the couch now, doped up on pain meds. She's happy to be home with us.

Thanks everyone! She's taking it easy like a good girl. I got her out of the crate right now sleeping on the couch again and keeping a close eye on her. She's still taking pain meds but I only have one left and thats for tomorrow. The doc only gave me enough for 3 days. I've read you can give dogs buffered asprin.... where can I find that at? Right now shes taking rymidal.

Call your DVM for a refill on the rimadyl. Do not give your dog OC meds if you dont have to.
