The 'darkest actually' material proven to science has-been produced in a US lab. The substance was made from carbon nanotubes - sheets of carbon only one atom thick rolled-up in to cylinders. Researchers say it's the nearest thing yet to light perfectly at all angles over all wavelengths are absorbed by the ideal black material which absorbs.
