This is how Nuremberg comes to America

Earlier this week I wrote NJ Arab Leader Aref Assaf Accuses Jews Of Being "Israel-Firsters" In Coming Election. The issue is thatAref Assaf, as the president of the New Jersey-based American Arab Forum, accused Jews of disloyalty to the US. In the New Jersey Star Ledger, Assaf wrote:
As total and blind support for Israel becomes the only reason for choosing Rothman, voters who do not view the elections in this prism will need to take notice. Loyalty to a foreign flag is not loyalty to America’s.Since Assaf is a supporter of New Jersey Democrat Bill Pascrell, Pascrell has been asked to distance himself from--but Pascrell has refused:

New Jersey Democrat Bill Pascrell has no intention of distancing himself from a prominent Arab-American supporter who accused the state’s Jewish community—as well as his Democratic primary challenger, Rep. Steve Rothman—of being more loyal to Israel than America.

Earlier today, Pascrell surrogate Herb Klein, a former member of Congress, called the controversy a non-issue.

“The ongoing ‘controversy’ being laid at Bill Pascrell’s door as a result of an op-ed authored by someone not affiliated with the Pascrell campaign has proven to be a distraction from the issues confronting the 9th Congressional District’s Democratic voters,” Klein said.Apparently, that depends on how one defines "affiliated."

Americans overwhelmingly support Israel. The vast majority of Americans are not anti-Semitic. Bill Pascrell himself is not anti-Semitic nor anti-Israel. This is NOT "how Nuremberg comes to America."

First they tell you you're disloyal then they tell you your rights need to be curbed. Then they tell you you have no rights, then they tell you you're not human. Then they gas you.

There is no chance of that. Only a tiny fraction of Americans hold such views. Intermarriage and assimilation are the biggest threats facing American Jews.

Only 10-12% of Germans were members of the Nazi party.

Representative Bill Pascrell (D-NJ), a signer of the infamous Hamas 54 letter, isrefusing to disavow an Arab supporter who labeled Pascrell's primary opponent, Representative Steve Rothman, 'Israel's man in the 9th district.' This is from the second link.New Jersey Democrat Bill Pascrell has no intention of distancing himself from a prominent Arab-American supporter who accused the state’s Jewish community—as well as his Democratic primary challenger, Rep. What American political parties are advocating a Final Solution to the Jewish Question? What percentage of the American population belongs to these anti-Semitic parties?

Bill Pascrell is not anti-Israel. From your source:

"Israel’s right to defend itself and a concern for the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip are not mutually exclusive,” Pascrell told NJ Jewish News. “I believe that there can be a better way to deliver clean water, medicine, and food to a civilian population that continues to suffer from entrenched poverty and devastation that is consistent with Israel’s security interests." There is nothing wrong with trying to ensure that the civilian population in Gaza has access to "clean water, medicine, and food."

The issue is thatAref Assaf, as the president of the New Jersey-based American Arab Forum, accused Jews of disloyalty to the US. In the New Jersey Star Ledger, Assaf wrote Is it just me? It seems to me that this is a blatant case of a pot calling the kettle black. An Arab American being an "Arabist firster" accusing Jews of being Israel firsters. And unlike the Arabs, I never heard of Jews going out to the streets, shaking their fists and chanting "Death to America". But I certainly remember Arab mobs doing that in the Arab streets. Not just shouting but actively targeting Americans all over the world consistently for many years.

I find this creature a bit rich. There is a good Jewish word which describes his attitude. It is called Hutzpah!

Exactly Reffo. Another thing, whatever supposed "powerful Zionist Lobby" there is in America is way out dwarfed by America's oil considerations. Saudia Arabia has America by the family jewels.

@Pleepleus, while I don't consider America the most likely country for a Holocaust to occur again, I certainly don't consider America exempt. The Jews in Germany 70 years ago were at least, if not more, assimilated than the Jews in America are today and most Americans are not pro-Israel or pro-Palestinian, but apathetic. However, as history shows this apathy can quickly be turned into antisemitism.

On 9/11 the Palestinians were celebrating in the streets and passing out candies.

Nothing is impossible, but I think it is extremely unlikely for another Shoah to occur in the US. And for Mediocrates to take one crackpot remark by an Arab in New Jersey and proclaim we are on the road to Nuremburg is absolutely ridiculous in my opinion.
