Default Obama to Set $17 Trillion Deficit by 2014
Well, here we have it, ladies and gentlemen, the crown jewel achievement of the Obama administration.

With not the slightest idea as to how America will repay it, the Democrat-led congress is committed to passing Obama's budget, which will plunge our country into a staggering and potentially devastating $17 Trillion Deficit by 2014.

$17 Trillion!!! That's the end of prosperity in America as we know it. There is no way any of us will get away without being affected by this kind of national debt.If you ever dreamt about being able to retire with dignity one day, forget about. If you ever dreamt about your children being able to live a better lifestyle then previous generations, forget it.

In the short-term, the money which Obama will steal from hard-working Americans will flow. Maybe the economy will be temporarily boosted, but within a few years the price for this insanity will have to be paid.

And, again, the radical socialist president of the US knows that most people in this country are apparently too stupid to demand a plan to repay the debt now being undertaken by Obama. So that's the level that this country has sunk to under the Obama regime: $17 trillion in borrowed money without even an explanation.

From news article:
WASHINGTON -- Acting with unusual speed, the House on Wednesday adopted a $3.4 trillion budget outline that endorses much of President Barack Obama's ambitious agenda while permitting the national debt to continue to spiral higher.

While a welcome victory for Democrats, the 233-193 House vote approving the House-Senate compromise budget is only a first, relatively easy step toward Obama's goal of providing health care coverage for all Americans. Next would come arduous negotiations among lawmakers, the Obama administration and a vast array of interest groups.

Not a single Republican voted for the measure; 17 Democrats, mostly from GOP-leaning districts, voted against it.

The Senate will vote on the measure Wednesday afternoon.

With the economy in recession and the bailout of the financial sector costing hundreds of billions of dollars, deficits would rocket to $1.7 trillion for the ongoing budget year, dipping to a still-astonishing $1.2 trillion in 2010. The national debt would rise from today's $11.2 trillion level to $17 trillion at the end of 2014.

"The same Democrats who were outraged over a $455 billion deficit last year came to us this year with a budget that would lead to trillion dollar deficits," said Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky.

After Obama, given current predictions, we will have 17T in debt and 320M people. That's over 53K in debt per person. Obama will have increased the debt by 40% per person, in just 5 short years! That's change I can believe in.
Exactly.

And, one of the major problems is that more than half of our citizens don;t pay taxes at all. That means that the other half will be stuck with double the debt, i.e., triple what the average person has saved for retirement.

Also, since Obama is scheming to provide healthcare for everyone, including illegal aliens, welfare recipients, the chronically unemployed, the chronically pregnant, the drug addicts, crack babies, crack mothers, deadbeat fathers, etc., this will mean that much more money will be needed to pay for all of this new healthcare bureaucracy.

At the same time, employers will be stuck with footing the bill for this insane scheme, which means higher unemployment as soon as employers get presented with the bill. This in turn means even lower productivity and less tax revenue.

The dream of Obama voters is coming true...

Obama inherited a deficit from his predecessors. As Calvin Coolidge put it; the shame with capitalists is that they are so damn greedy.

So they are, and so the people of the USA will have to make good on the avarciousness of their predecessors.

If he is going to spend this much, surely we will benefit in some way- where in the world is all this money going to go?

I guess what I am asking is... how will this Spendx10 budget benefit the people who are actually paying their taxes??

What in the world???
We don't get much. Too much of the expenditures isn't going for 'things'. It is going to keep benefits to the UAW, bankers to write down their losses, home owners to refinance their houses. Some will go into research and infrastructure projects. Something like 5% of the 'stimulus' bill actually went into roads, bridges, etc.

That's a good question, and the answer is that most of the people who actually pay taxes did not vote for Obama , and they will not get much of any benefit from Obama's theft of wealth.

The people who did vote for Obama, meaning mostly the welfare class, corrupt unions, and others who contribute the least to society, stand to benefit because they will be the recipients of other people's money that Obama promises to steal for them.

But... any benefit will be very short-lived, as we will all be hit with huge inflation (making everyone's money worth less), and all tax payers will inherit a mind-boggling debt that will ultimately need to be repaid some day.

And for those radical Leftists who still blame this deficit on past presidents, that is complete nonsense, and the same dishonest propaganda that won Obama the election. Instead, it is Obama, Pelosi, and Reid who in their first three months in power are now raising the national deficit to a level that is 4(!!!) times that of what it was under Bush. So, to be clear, this disaster is completely the fault of Obama and his radical Leftist Socialists.
