From news article: Free Press Publisher/Editor Bob Fitrakis and Senior Editor/Columnist Harvey Wasserman have been cited by "Project Censored" for their coverage of the theft of the 2004 election as writers of one of the Most Censored stories of the year. The pair have published numerous stories in the past year which claim that the Republicans stole the election of 2004. Wasserman is the author of "Harvey Wasserman's History Of The United States." ................................... That Kerry and the spineless Ohio and national Democratic Parties have been complicit is a crucial part of the problem much of the left also seems unwilling to face. But if you live in Franklin County, Ohio, and watch the Republican and Democratic Parties run joint pickets against progressive candidate, and cut backroom deals allowing incumbents of either party run unopposed, you may miss the full scope of the disaster. And until the left faces the rot that defines the Democratic Party, there is no hope for a fair election in this country. In other words: those who think the White House can be retaken in 2008, but refuse to face the theft of the vote in 2004, should prepare to be ruled by the likes of Jeb Bush, now and forever. |

the machines were very troubling. While we don't know anything, there are large numbers of unanswered questions. Its difficult to conlcude that "the election was stolen." However, at this point, it is just as difficult to say "the election definately wasn't stolen." Of course, the Dems could start having balls and winning more local elections and none of this would be a problem.
I think that if the Democrats proposed a "New Defense Initiative" - which entailed upping border security, more aggressively going after terrorist groups at home and abroad, smarter trade policies (economic security) and smarter energy policy (including, despite the environmentalist and NIMBY lobby, tax breaks for more refeineries in the US, as now S.A. is building refineries to take even more profit out of oil!) at the expense of the Bush tax cuts and regressive tax policies which are hurting middle America to the benefit of the most elite... Out-toughing the Republicans can work. They are too much about tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy and corporate subsidies (medicare bill) and many don't really care about national security. Bull-Moose two. |
