In the recent "The Red Air" threat exercise, the F-22 scored kills of 200 to zero ratio against opposing F-16's, F-18's and F-15's and,
[.. During the exercise, in which more than 40 aircraft littered the skies, the Blue Team achieved a remarkable 241-to-2 kill ratio. It should be noted that the 2 aircraft lost on the Blue Team were F-15C aircraft and not the F-22s. ..] http://dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=5971 Why any nation would want these ancient dogs is beyond me. However, I would join Kenneth in a heartbeat if we could get ours hands on our very own F-14. ^_^ |

Problem being forward staging. We have 2-3 carrier groups in the Gulf region. And they are chock full of F-18 Super Hornets. I wonder if F-22s will remain staged back for a while until the USAF understands how to maintain them in the field. Remember it was only recently that any airbase in the world outside of the US was certified for B-2 operations.
