He can sit back and proudly declare that he ran, and won, the presidency and thereby cemented himself as 1 of the rare few to hold that office. During the debates I read several comments that said Obama appeared like he didn't really want to run this time around. That and the idea that Obama is claiming to have been out of the loop on the Libya attacks made me think of this:

What would lead a man to fight so hard for job he doesn't want to do? Or just won't do?
