There have been quite a few on this board that have talked about voting early in their states. I was just curioius about ours, and there is no such provision. To vote early, one must either bring in proof to the County Clerk's office that one has to be out of town that day for something such as training for a job, or a pre-planned, or sign an oath saying such, and it is treated like a sworn statement in court.
I am not sure how many states allow early voting or voting by mail, but Kentucky is very strict about it. Does anyone happen to know how many states allow early voting? My guess is that it falls along a liberal-conservative state line. |
