Can you tell me something about her? Well, there's not much to tell. Monica was a girl from California who had heard of Clinton's lack of character or morals, and who set out to see if she sould get his attention. She remarked to a friend that she was going to Washington to "get her Presidential kneepads", a comment that doesn't have very many possible interpretations. She got a nonpaying (I think) job at the White House (called an internship), a kind that is held by a number of young people interested in getting political experience. She got into the east wing of the White House, whee interns are normally not allowed, and caught Clinton's eye. Given Clinton's lack of discipline and integrity, what followed was inevitable, and they had oral and manipulative sex of various kinds.

Later she chattered about it, and about Clinton's attempts to cover it up and get her to not talk about it, to a friend, named Linda Tripp. Tripp became alarmed as well as disgusted, and realized that if she kept quiet about it, she could also be guilty of concealing evidence. So she went to the authorities, who asked her to put a tape recorder on her phone. She got several tapes of Monica chattering about Clinton's acts. Monica later testified about what they had done and gifts Clinton had given her, and about the attempts to cover it up and get her to lie. The rest is history you are probably familiar with.

Monica went back to California and mostly lived a normal life for a teenager, even after she turned 20. She was once host on an odd TV show, but didn't do much else.
