My point was that you really need to open your eyes.
Speaking of opening one's eyes, have you noticed yet that the last time the Democrats were able to win the race for control of the House was 1992 ?

That's well over a decade ago, Jefe.

Again, I'm NOT a Democrat, so your little tidbit is kinda wasted on me.

Golly, I'm not a Democrat either, Jefe! What a coincidence!

So, you did notice that the Democrats haven't been able to win even one single race for control of the House since 1992, Jefe? Gee, I noticed the same thing! There's another swell coincidence between you and me!

Kewl !

(BTW, have you also noticed yet that the Libertarians haven't been able to win a race for control of the House for even longer than the Democrats have been unable to do that? Yes, I bet you noticed that also, same as I did, Jefe! Another really terrific coincidence between you and me! )

Well, I'm a Republican and I still hate Karl Rove. And Cheney, and Bush, and their sycophantic superfans like yourself.

I hope they all die horribly. And broke.

Yeah, people like you prove to me that the big tent is way too big.
I am wishing you a Merry CHRISTmas, because haters like you can't have many friends or even relatives that would want to be around you much.

No need to assume anything, since the Democrats voted to authorize the invasion of Iraq! So what's your point???
They didn't vote to invade Iraq. Try reading the bill. The bill gives the President authority to deploy the troops. It was a powerful diplomatic tool that was necessary for the time. If Congress has passed a declaration of war, then you could say they voted for invasion. Get your facts fuckin straight, I swear I'm so sick of this shit after awhile.

See, you just prove that all Democrats are basically Monicas.
The Democrats voted to give President Bush all means necessary to bring Saddam to heel. He did that and now you are crying in your pabulum.
Nobody declares war anymore. Thought even libs knew that.

I am well aware that we haven't declared war since WW2. I am also aware that war is meant to be conducted with a declaration of war. I believe that was part of the whole thought process behind checks and balances. I'm also not "crying in [my] pabulum" because Bush "[brought] Saddam to heel" as you put it, but rather because he's gotten Americans killed in the process without providing a single, solitary reason of any actual merit.

Stop it! You can't fight in here. This is the war room!
That's what I think of all wars and especially all American wars since WWII.

However, we have already won the war and now are trying to win a respectable peace. You Democrats don't seem to know much about respectable because all you do all day long is whine and cry about the war.
We are in it. Grow up. We have to finish it.
Next election you can vote against Republicans.
However, we cannot do a France and give up. We have to finish what we started.
Stop your crying about the war. It's tiresome.
Nobody really gives a shit about your alligator tears and that includes that soldiers that are there doing the job.

Nobody said they did!

I said the Democrats voted to authorize the invasion of Iraq, and that the Democrats voted in favor of giving the President full authority to wage that war. And that's exactly what the Democrats did.

If now the Democrats want to pull a "John Forbes Kerry" and want to "vote against the war after they voted for it", I think it's safe to say We The Voters are going to rake those "cut n' run" Democrats over the coals, come the November 2006 elections. National defense is too damn important to put it in the hands of a political party that wavers all over the place when it comes to waging war against Muslim Terrorism!

The Democrat Party is looking more and more stupid, more and more pathetic, and more and more cowardly the more that party's leaders shoot their damn mouths off.

Is it possible that I was saying we have to finish repairing the damage we did in Iraq before we jumped out of there? Just maybe? Oh wait I did!
If I were in Congress I would not vote to leave Iraq because it is a dispicable action at this point in time when we have utterly destroyed their political and economic infrastructure. To leave their country is such shambles after invading them for no logical reason would be a truly disguisting action that I would not endorse in a million years.
OMG IT'S TRUE!!!

I also never said anything against the troops, so don't even try and start into that.

If you're waging war against Muslim terrorism, why invade Iraq? Afghanistan made sense, they attacked us. Syria and Palestine both harbor terrorists. Sudan and Rwanda and the Congo and Somalia have all seen terrible genocide and terrorism at some point or another in the recent past, but we left those alone. And heaven forbid we consider paying attention to Indonesia.

Can't tell where you stand what with all those phoney ass tears.
You are just like Kerry.
Talk against the war, when confronted with that, talk for the war.
Talk about prisoner abuse and then talk about how you love the GI.
Slippery as a greased politician you are.
We are there. Get used to it.
Dems and Reps voted to go kick some Iraqi booty. We did that.
Now we are going to create a shining city on the hill with electronic voting machines and all that.
We are going to do that if we have to kill every Iraqi in the process.
That's OK by me. I don't know anyone in Iraq so I don't care.
Dems and Reps voted to go kick Saddams ass up around his shoulders.
We did that.
Quit yer crying.

We invaded Iraq solely to steal their oil ... and we committed mass murder in the process.

Thus we have committed a horrendous crime ... and we must now do the right thing.

So, the right thing to do is to immediately withdraw and be replaced by U.N. troops to keep the peace and protect Iraq from Iran while Iraqis put Iraq back together again.

Then, we must make reparations.

Oh, and by the way, Karl Rove is an asshole, a wickedly insidiously manipulative one, but an asshole, nonetheless.

If you're waging war against Muslim terrorism, why invade Iraq?
Well, I can think of at least a couple of reasons:

1) Saddam Hussein, as the Democrat Party leaders said, was in violation of various UN resolutions.
2) Saddam Hussein, as the Democrat Party leaders said, was apparently busily developing WMDs.
3) None of the Democrat Party leaders said they were opposed to invading Iraq.
4) None of the Democrat Party leaders stepped forward and proposed we invade some other country instead of Iraq.
5) The Democrat Party leaders said they were concerned about the terrorist training camps in Iraq.
6) The Democrat Party leaders said they were concerned about the human rights violations that were occurring in Iraq.

So I guess your question becomes, "Why didn't the Democrat Party rank and file scream bloody murder at the Democrat Party leaders when their Democrat Party leaders in Congress were busy saying all those things??"

I just like the fact that ADD-fly started talking about Karl Rove and has now so easily been suckered into talking about Iraq.

Shows you how lame the ultracons can get. LOL

I don't know what it is about the Democrats.
I start a post about the great man Rove and sure as shit, the Demos start whining about the war again.
I bet I could start a post about French homeless dying in the winter and some pabulum puker will come along and cry about the war in Iraq.
Sheesh! Give it a rest already Cindy.

Well, I can think of at least a couple of reasons:

1) Saddam Hussein, as the Democrat Party leaders said, was in violation of various UN resolutions.
And has been for years. So this reason was never adopted by the administration because?
2) Saddam Hussein, as the Democrat Party leaders said, was apparently busily developing WMDs.
And they were wrong...as were the Republicans who said the same thing. Of course I don't remember the Democrats citing as the reason to go to war time after time.
3) None of the Democrat Party leaders said they were opposed to invading Iraq.
And if you held a gun to my head, would it be might fault if you shot me because I didn't say not to?
4) None of the Democrat Party leaders stepped forward and proposed we invade some other country instead of Iraq.
Who cares? Just because the Democrats didn't say something doesn't mean that the administration shouldn't have enough sense to do it themselves. For thinking that the Republican party is full of intelligent leaders you sure seem to be in support of using the Democrats as your crutch.
5) The Democrat Party leaders said they were concerned about the terrorist training camps in Iraq.
I never heard this. I request a source.
6) The Democrat Party leaders said they were concerned about the human rights violations that were occurring in Iraq.
Concern != war. Concern usually means "let's be diplomatic about this".

So I guess your question becomes, "Why didn't the Democrat Party rank and file scream bloody murder at the Democrat Party leaders when their Democrat Party leaders in Congress were busy saying all those things??" [/QUOTE]
My dad actually daily rails on the Democratic leaders for all the stupid shit they say. Doesn't mean that his ideals which are aligned with the Democrats have to be compromised. It's almost comical how most Democrats overlook the stupid shit their leaders say as much as the Republicans ignore how inarticulate the president is.
