I love it. Let those lying pricks take it on the chin for their scum bag ways of lies and back room deals. Iraq, Delay, Frists, Bush, Rove, Cheney, let them all answer to their dishonesty |

Yeah, Democrats never engage in any of that.... The Democratic philosophy that government is an important part of the solution to today's problems, encourages a wiew of government as a competant organization that has long term goals and is a vital ongoing enterprise. This promotes the appointment of competant individuals to key management positions and calls for long term fiscal stability. The Republican philosophy that government is the problem, leads to the appointment of loyal, ideologically selected people to key management positions who don't necessarily have any other qualifications. It also encourages the treasury to be looted for short term political gain, as the GOP does not view government as something that must survive for the long term. Indeed, mismanagement of government boosts the ideological agenda of the GOP, as it makes the government even more of a "problem" than a "solution". |

Yeah, Democrats never engage in any of that.... American government has become corrupt. I'm not really a partisan wigger, I just so happen to believe that Republicans are the most vile creatures to walk upon this earth, but aside from that, they are being labeled as a "culture of corruption" and the press and Justice Dept. are starting to heed that call. I'm not going to pretend that the dirty dollar stops with the Republicans. It's time we start hold more and more politicians accountable for their bad deeds, whether they be Republican, Democrat, or an evil Sith Lord from a galaxy far, far way. So even though these bloodhounds keep turning up crooked paths leading to the Republicans, it is creating another culture - a culture of accountability and responsibility. Meaning that we are reminding our politicians are not to whore themselves for corporate wealth or any other endeavor not in the best interest of Americans. The culture of corruption is living well within the Democratic party as well, though we much reach a reasonable conclusion that there are far less crooked Demos than Repubs, of course I've seen conservatives provide information that is claimed to show otherwise, I understand that argument and I have to disagree. I'll applaud any intervention and investigation on any politician involved in unconstitutional deeds. Now is the time to clean house. Now is the time to go after any bad politician. Republicans and Democrats are both American political parties and they both meet the same lobbyists that handshake the good old American way with fund transfers. Recognition of this "culture of corruption" can create a "culture of accountability" and this would be a very healthy, long overdue overhaul of our government. |

Wherever there is a 'culture of corruption' it seems a little strange to claim outsiders are using it to kill anything ... in the long run it is a guaranteed self destruct programme. Whatever your political leanings corruption can never be a long term strategy ... it depends too much on the 'trustworthiness' of those in the circle ... and since corruption and trustworthiness don't sit together comfortably for very long ...
Contrary to popular opinion there is no honour among thieves no matter how they represent themselves ... |

Republicans piss on you and you stand there and take it because they tell you there is a chance you will be one of the pissers someday.
The Democrats piss on you and hand you an umbrella. And Libertarians piss on you and accuse you of being totalitarian if you try to stop them. Actually, the Libertarians try to tell people they don't have to get pissed on, but the Republicans are too invested in their future turn and the Democrats are too concerned that they'd be stuck with a useless umbrella factory, and the rest sheeple believe their rulers who defensively label us as wackos with weird ideas. |
