Default George W. Bush: The Truth!
This may not be breaking news but it certainly is worthy of debate...

Many people criticise Dubya and his worth but this man is truly a winner in life. He is a classic example of what humanity should strive to be foreign policies excluded. Now, do not get me wrong, I do not like many of the nations and people he counts as allies but personally, Dubya is an example of success...

1) Earned a Bachelors Degree from the prestigious Yale University
2) Earned an MBA from the prestigious Harvard University
3) Served in the National Guard (Yep, I know there is some dispute about this service but he was not dishonourably discharged so I am counting it.)
4) Owned a professional sports team
5) Elected Governor of Texas and was the first Texas governor to be elected to consecutive four year terms.
6) Elected to consecutive 4 year terms as U.S. President.
7) Recovered from alcoholism then ascended to the heights of greatness.

I do not always agree with Dubya but he is truly an example of greatness and success!

You forgot:

0) Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, allowing numbers 1 through 7 to be accomplished with much more ease than the average person.

This is a joke right?

1. If he didn't have the Bush family name, this would not have been possible.
2. see number 1
3. AWOL
4. Daddy bought it for him just like the oil field that he bankrupted.
5. see number 1
6. The first time because of the Republican vendetta against Clinton, the second time for his war that was waged for among other things, to get him re-elected.
7. in your opinion only.

What's there to debate? Your opinion that George Bush is successful as a person?

That's not really what I'd describe as "juicy"...

Will be fun to watch if nothing else Interestingly enough most university punks I know get financial help from mommy and daddy quite regularly. Should I cast dispersions on their degrees even though they did the work and got the passing marks solely because mommy and daddy helped them with money.

Second, Samantha mentioned Bush was "awol." Is this not a legal term? I thought Bush was honourably discharged without any record of military offences?

Yeah. But many don't. I won't be.

And for the record? is this breaking news?

Don't you know nuffin' ? It's meaningless to a liberal if your mom and dad helped you with ANYTHING. Now, if you were abandoned in the woods and raised by wolves and then were able to quickly integrate into society and get rich... THEN you're worthy of respect.

Or if you're parents were drug addicts and killed themselves and you were adopted by perverts.

Many scenarios. But, we can't credit anyone that had their real mom and dad helping them financially or anything.

Get REAL man

A liberal will tell you that Bush smoked crack and raped three year olds too. Yeah, he was AWOL too. And I understand he slept with micheal jackson one night too

And for the record? is this breaking news? I did say the following in the opening post...

"This may not be breaking news but it certainly is worthy of debate..." - Horatio

Yeah. But many don't. I won't be. But for those who do should I respect their accomplishment of earning a degree, not that it is likely very difficult but none the less...

You aren't a real liberal. Say you are all you want. From your style here though, you're WAY to smart to be a true liberal.

Liberals are S-T-U-P-I-D.

It is very OBVIOUS when you come across one.

Dude. Either take a basic entry level Political Ideologies course and find out what the word "Liberal" means, or stop making yourself silly.

This is the second post I've seen of yours today where you project contempt for people who earn a university education (unless they're George Bush, apparently). Do you have firsthand experience with unviersity education (i.e. are you a "university punk") or is your experience with it limited to knowing people who have a university education? In either case, why the carte blanche disdain for education?
