I gotta tell you, nothing makes me feel more safe than seeing a bunch of cops standing outside grand central. I mean not only the regular uniformed officers, but the ones carrying high-slung M16 rifles, full flak jackets and 8-ball helmets make me feel right at home.

But the clincher for my feeling of SECURITY and SAFETY was walking into work today and having a guard dog, 6 feet away from me, bark and snap like he wanted a piece of my arm.


The only thing that made me feel, after noticeably startled, was the desire to look up how to fend off a dog once he attacks.

I guarantee it says nothing about removing the blood stains from your dress shirt...
