Default COCK-A-YANkEE-DOODLE-DO!!
A good morning to everyone.

For your cock-a-doodle-do wake up message, here's my thought for the day, based on a current news event. No deep thinking, just good old Read-The-Story-Here-Comes-My-Gut-Reaction.

Heres the story:

(Edited by Tenenbaum - Link no Longer Working - Story in NYT about some fantastic painless treatment for not-so-old people to get rid of all of their wrinkles in 5 minutes)

MY VIEW: why do we spend so much time looking in the mirror? What has become of our society when it comes to looks - why is it so important. I'm not grotesque, but I'm not vain either. and the thought of a society of old people in the next 50 years all trying to look like they're 30 is a little disturbing.

Your Cock-A-Doodle-Do thoughts about this po-lease Ladies and Gentlemen.

Tenenbaum out.

PS Someone can post the next Cock-A-Doodle-Do topic for tomorrow.

When I was 17, I tried to act like I was 30 years old. Now that I'm - how shall I say - "a bit beyond 30" - I am still trying to act like I'm 30 years old... which means I am acting like I did when I was 17.

Good Morning Everyone.

So exactly what do you think about the beauty industry for old peeps?

http://gofugyourself.typepad.com/go_...ndollar_f.html

I still cant find the original story, I remember it being something about needleless botox for the elderly.

Great for those disco nights at the old folks home!

Oh my... well he IS pushing 80.

The problem here, IMHO is over-use of face peeling. Men should be really careful about getting certain treatments because you'll wind up with lady skin. Add botox and there you are.

Amazing how a 75 year old man looks in a poorly lit flash photo at an event with no airbrushing, isn't it?

I think he would have looked like a bowl of oat bran if he had not gotten whateve he had done, and we all know that stage makup looks like crap anywhere but on the stage!
