Default City Manager Steve in Largo, Florida wants to be Suzy__ who pays?
.

Largo official preparing for sex change(LINK) but the real question is: who is to pay for the operation for Steve to become Suzy……..the taxpayers?

I suspect the city employees’ benefit package could very well pay for the Steve to Suzy thing.

You really think its outlandish ? Truth is, the homo crowd has been pushing for taxpayer funded sex changes for quite some time. For example, the State of Washington has already funded a number of sex-change operations (LINK).

And in Wisconsin the ACLU sues over sex-change ban (LINK) in which the state discontinued funding a sex change operation for an inmate in jail!

I could care less if Steve wants to be Suzy and pays for it, but when the public gets taxed for the Steve to Suzy thing, that my friend is a very, very different matter!

What say you?

Regards,

JWK

If the employee's insurance coverage package includes the procedure(s) then who am I to argue?

btw: be careful of that "homo crowd" -- they're everywhere and growing by the day ...

You didn't seem to mind blowing taxpayer money on the Terri Schiavo Circus.

You didn't seem to mind blowing taxpayer money on the Terri Schiavo Circus.
Oh come now Zippy, as I remember she was awarded a large sum of money which her husband and lawyer, with the court's help, plundered. The money was intended to go for her needs, not her husband's needs and his lawyer

The astonishing thing was, Greer [the judge in the case] was given an award for authorizing money assigned for the care of Terri to be used by her husband to obtain legal help to legally starve her to death.

But what can we expect from the secular progressives who have infested Florida’s judicial system?

Greer should have been put in jail for his criminal conduct…using his office of public trust to assist in the plundering and misappropriation of a trust fund intentionally earmarked for Terri’s care.

But tell me, do you not think its an abuse of the Largo City Government’s force of taxation to compel its residents to pay for the City’s manager, Steve Stanton, to have a medical sex change procedure by which he wishes to fulfill a childhood fantasy and become Suzy?

I don’t think Mary and Joe Sixpack, living in Largo and paying taxes there, who can barely pay for their own catastrophic health care premiums, should be forced to pay for the frivolous sex change fantasy for Steve, simply because Steve is part of the government folk crowd in Largo and government folk there think the people they tax are their personal cash cow, just like the do in San Francisco ___ our nation’s left coast Largo.

In addition, what about this fantasy chaser’s wife and 13 year old son who will have to now deal with the neighborhood kids and kids at school___ not to mention how his wife is taking it. All of this for his selfish desire in an attempt to fulfill a fantasy with an operation which will leave him not as a man or women, but as an “it” as a local minister has correctly pointed out.

Just noting that your "causes" are all partisan-based. The autopsy on Schiavo upheld all the medical diagnoses.

At least you've changed homo crowd to government folk crowd.

UPDATE

Largo officials vote to dismiss Stanton

I found out the city insurance would not cover his sex change fantasy. But, the sad part of this whole thing is the suffering his wife and 13 year old son must bare, not to mention the abuse his son will experience in school because his father couldn’t wait a few more years to become Suzy. His disloyalty toward his wife and son is perhaps the best measure of Steve’s real character…selfish, and, it’s all about me ___ a two faced clown!

Your lack of understanding of transgender issues is vast ...

Based on the article you linked it seems that the charactrer of some Largo residents is less than stellar:
... commissioners voted before getting a full understanding of what a transsexual must confront when this kind of secret is disclosed.

During the meeting, Stanton described the dismay of watching his professional reputation disintegrate in just seven days.
Until last week, he had served 14 years as the city manager, generally to good reviews. Last fall, commissioners raised his salary nearly 9 percent to $140,234 a year.

But on Feb. 21, the Times reported that Stanton was undergoing hormone therapy in preparation for gender-reassignment surgery - a plan known only to a small circle of people, including his wife, medical team and a few top officials at City Hall.

Stanton and his friends had written an eight-page plan to help make his decision known in June, when he said his 13-year-old son could be out of town and shielded from the publicity.

Instead, the news came out before he told his son. Outraged residents swarmed commissioners, demanding he be ousted.

And then, of course, we get the word from one with that special knowledge ...

"Mr. Stanton is not a role model. He's proven that.

I think for the sake of our young people today, you need to do what's right, and that's terminate him.

... If Jesus was here tonight, I can guarantee you he'd want him terminated. Make no mistake about it."

You spread your story all over the internet, ranting about how the poor taxpayer will be socked for the expense; on finding out govt insurance won't pay for it, you suddenly express concern for his family.

I am sure Jesus would want to see this man nailed to a cross and belittled by all those around him.

Really? Seems the titled in the thread clearly asks: “who pays?”

Judging from the various links I provided, Zippy, also see FREE TO BE HE-SHE
CITY-PAID GENDER OP
from the New York Post, taxpayers have been forced to foot the bill to create this sort of sexual fantasy for others.

Why do you have such a problem with Mr. Stanton's situation?

It's been established that taxpayers will NOT foot the bill for his operation.

You seem to want to make decisions for both him and his wife -- and you try to characterize her as "suffering" when you really seem to have ZERO information regarding her reaction / involvement in her husband's actions in an effort to achieve what he has determined is his actual true self.

That it's you who is spreading this story, and possibly causing embarrassment to his family. It wasn't even on the radar in the media capital of America. The NY Post article you dug up is a different case.

It's a cause celebre.. It amazes me how the people who rail about government intervention in our lives are the first to jump into private matters when it suits their agenda.

Must be something about Florida.

But what can we expect from the secular progressives who have infested Florida’s judicial system? Better things than we can expect from the bible-thumping, science-denying,
human-rights-averse, regressive-thinking Jesus freaks. Too bad we can't pack 'em all up and send them to a mental institution, like we do with other lunatics whose thoughts diverge from reality.
This is a country with a secular government... If you don't like it, pick a theocracy and go there, where you can praise Jesus and wait for his second landing.

Unlike you pal, I see very little difference between the religious extremists and the secular extremists, both of whom wish to impose their predilections upon others.

Seems to me the Stanton story was covered on the major T.V. Networks and many major newspapers across the country. As to the Post article, that is current news and related news.

It's a cause celebre.. It amazes me how the people who rail about government intervention in our lives are the first to jump into private matters when it suits their agenda.

Must be something about Florida.
First of all, Steve made his “personal business” public… he disclosed it to a Times reporter and in a news conference. But tell me Zippy, what have you concluded my “agenda” to be?

In addition, my initial interest in the story was ---- were Mary and Joe Sixpack, who can barely pay the premiums for their own catastrophic health care insurance, being forced by folks in government to pay for a frivolous sex change fantasy for Steve, because Steve is part of the government folk crowd in Largo and government folk there think the people they tax are their personal cash cow?

After doing a little research I found that taxpayers around the country were being forced to pay for “sex change” surgery. And so, it was not outlandish to think this may be another case, which is why I pursued the matter.

Why are you all wound up Zippy?

I know it's been established that taxpayers will NOT foot the bill, I stated that here as soon as I found out from a local news report.

ZERO information about his wife?

Journalist may have hit career weirdness

She married a man, not a woman. She may want out.

"She's devastated,'' Boey says.
