OF CONGRESS PRODUCE LEGISLATION....

AND USUALLY, THERE IS NO LEGITIMATE NEED OF ANY.

Limit Congress to 3 months.
Limit bills to 16 pages.
Limit treasury revenue to import duties.
Dump the standing army and return to the states militia system.
Prohibit unaccountable police and return to the elected sheriff and appointed deputies.
Repeal the 16th and 17th amendments.
Shut the Federal Reserve and have the Treasury and Mint issue debt-free money.
Close every Federal agency besides the Dept of War, Post Office, Navy, Mint, and a Bureau of Standardized Weights and Measures.
Strike down all treaties and put a permanent moratorium on any future treaties.
Treaties are mischief.

Unfortunately the media is all to willing to "forget" that politicians are glorified civil servants that work for the people. Perhaps one of the worst offenders in FOX's Bill O'Reilly and his belief that the Office of the President has to be respected and that we have to bow and scrape to whomever is in that office. Bullshit, the person that occupies that office needs to respect those who pay his wages and needs to bow and scrape to those who pay his wages.

Politicians should not be referred to as "Sir" and "Ma'am" (though madam might fit Nancy Pelosi) by their employers but need to address their employers (the taxpayers) as "Sir" and "Ma'am"

we can respect the office of the president without respecting the person currently occupying it. thats all O'Reilly is doing. its not a big deal.

the problem is that being in congress has become very financially lucrative and a life time career. Term limits would fix a lot of the mess.
