謝長廷未參選民進黨主席，卻成為許信良拉攏對象，並被解讀為「許蔡謝」結盟，要對抗以蘇貞昌為首的「新蘇連 」同盟。雖然謝長廷低調表示「那是許信良的策略」，卻可看出他在綠營仍具影響力；他昨天透露「愈來愈健康」 ，也讓外界充滿想像。
