Catholic Church ready to declare war on Obama
From the campaign trail last month, GOP contender Newt Gingrich said US President Barack Obama had declared a “war on the Catholic Church.” Some clergy have heard that call and are warning the president: look out, we’re ready to rumble.

The measure is for non-Catholic employees and no one is forced to use birth control just because it is in the plan. That's like saying that I have to use viagra because it's covered in my drug plan. Birth control isn't covered in any plan that I know of anyway.

Hopefully they'll figure that out before the shootin' starts....

Social mores evolve with a rapidity beyond the eternal fixity of theology.

As such, our arrogance lends us to label it as stagnant, where we would more fittingly view convention as being mutable.

As the one in relation to the other. Religious precepts are eternal, as being not beyond measure, but the measure. God doesn't play dice. That much is true. There are constants. He didn't construct the universe to be at odds with itself. There are no contradictions. It is what it is, always.

Convention as defined by social trends and attitudes, that may be so ephemeral as to vary even within a single generation. The point being that whilst these changes appear as rapid to us, they occur within the same universe. They exist not independently, but interdependently.

So whatever these ra6es of change, they only confirm each other. Except that identification is biased. But the universe is not, since it accounts for all labels at once. The mistake is in assuming that those labels are the definition, when they're only language.

He didn't just declare war on the Catholics. He declared war on everybody. Why stop with the Catholics? Just tell everyone what they can and can't offer to their employees.

I like how a lot of Christians are against birth control, yet most of them end up having to use it anyway.

Those who can't afford birth control should receive it via the government. It's one of the most sensible forms of welfare payment ever.
