"The vast majority of Muslims in the Middle East were as shocked and horrified as any American by what they saw happening on their TV screens. And they are frightened of being lumped together in the popular American imagination with the perpetrators of the attack.

But from Jakarta to Cairo, Muslims and Arabs say that on reflection, they are not surprised by it. And they do not share Mr. Bush's view that the perpetrators did what they did because "they hate our freedoms."

Rather, they say, a mood of resentment toward America and its behavior around the world has become so commonplace in their countries that it was bound to breed hostility, and even hatred."

The idea has been floated that we are rewriting history a decade later. That this is all in hindsight. And yet, right here is an in-depth, thoughtful, 9-page article written on this subject a mere 16 days after the 9/11 attacks.

Muslims are taught to hate all non-muslims. They are indoctrinated from birth that islam is the only religion and all others are to be driven from the earth.

and remember, Obama attended an indonesian muslim madrassa as a young child. Does anyone think he was not exposed to the brainwashing?

BTW, every Christian is brainwashed from birth to believe that only Christians go to heaven. And every Jew is brainwashed from birth to believe that they are god's chosen and everyone else is on par with cattle.

Except Judaism that doesn't proselytize. You have to want to join our club on your own before you can be initiated.

In the long run it makes no difference until one's personal choices are infringed upon.
