Default Are Texan MexAms more euro than Californian ones?
Recently we got a group of exchange students from Eagle Pass, TX. Most were in the castizo range, with criollos present. I spoke with them and they told me most Texan hispanics look like them. Having checked that town, it's over 95% Mexican. Also after looking at videos, it seems that New Mexican and Texan MexAms are more pred. euro than Californios.

I would say the California ones are. Most of the Mexicans in Texas seem very Indo to me.

From the genetic studies I've read, most have Texas Mexicans being more Euro admixed than Californians, and New Mexican Mexicans being the least Euro admixed.

Edit: Just a side comment, per many of our East Coast posters, the Mexicans on the East Coast are the most Indigenous admixed.

I see, so it's true. But what is the reason for that? That they come from the north of mexico? Because I heard that most people in California are from Jalisco, so why the difference? Mexicans from Jalisco and Northern Mexicans are similar in admixture.

It depends on the city. I remember many Tejanos being Off-White and White in San Antonio, while in Dallas most were pred Indo.

Most Chicanos/Mexicans in California are balanced to Harnizo.
