Isnt being Black a social stigma in Latin America?
Depends on which Latin American country you speak off, on the caribbean(with exception of Cuba maybe)itsn't a social stigma, in some countries such as Colombia, Chile and Myabe Argentina, it is.

In some regions in Mexico being Black could be the same as being an illegal immigrant in the USA. In other words, they would face discrimination.

But many of you said that Blacks wouldn't face discrimination in Mexico, and now they do?On what specific regions of Mexico they would get discriminated?

Like I said amigo Jibaro, in some regions. People are not used to seeing Black folks.
Just imagine if a group of Indians arrived to Puerto Rico, people would probably be looking at them weird since they are not common in the island.

Name the region(not that I doubt you, but I want to know where in Mexico people such as I would get discriminated so I can avoid those places if I planned to visit there someday)

Guerrero, Oaxaca, Veracruz and Mexico City are places where Afro-descendants could just pass the day without being bothered. But in your case you would be fine in any place.

That would leave the rest of Mexico a place where afros are "persona non-grata"

I don't think only those states are a "safe-haven". Many places they wouldn't be bothered. At least that has been my experience. I have a good number of AfroMexican friends and they have never complained about discrimination nor have they been treated differently than the rest of us. At least in my experiences with them and asking them about their own experiences in other states, they've never had to go through unpleasant situations by being treated differently or unfairly.

They don't, my Afro-mexican cousins dont face it when they go to Northern Mexico. They have never been discriminated in Mexico, although they don't look pred. SSA, you can tell they are mixed, but their SSA is obvious on them.

Just because afro-mexicans are not everywhere doesnt mean people in Northern Mexico or in other parts of Mexico will discriminate them, our Chinese community in Baja California were never discriminated for looking different, mexicans dont discriminate just because you are "rare" in Mexico lol although my cousins did tell me when they went to Northern Mexico, the northern mexicans were curious how black hair felt lol and the girls would feel their hair.

I guess you have never really spent time in the deep rural communities in Sinaloa, Durango and Chihuahua.

I know this guy from Michoacan who happens to be Indo-Mestizo and hates Black people with a passion.

I'm commenting based on what I have heard and seen. Unlike Pao and Batman, I didn't grow up around or in areas where Afro descendants are common to see.

And here is an example:
