Cynthia Baley and Beverly Johnson does. But I think Greogry Hines and Michael Steele look more distinctly Horner.

And there was a debate about P Diddy looking Somali. Alot of posters thought Diddy looked Somali.

Shawn Stockman from Boyz to Men also looks Horner.

lol, just as I suspected. No, they aren't. Nubians are a specific ethnic group from North Sudan and not recently related to the ancestors of Aframs. You should stop pretending something you are not.

(BEEP) Wrong, the term Nubian is the ORIGINAL term for words like Black.African,Afram etc..... Africa was originally never called ''Africa'' it was called Nubia. Know the history, Did you know that most West african tribes originally came from Sudan (which is the original home of the Nubian)

Do you speak Nubian? Is your culture Nubian? No.. therefore you are not a Nubian.

That falls in the same category as Afro-american english, which is considered a linguistic type of english. They call it AFRICAN, Nubian is just another word for it. Same as Nordic and Aryan. There are many Irish who don't speek Irish

Most ethnic "Nubians" never use the expression "nubian american" or otherwise, those that live in the United States normally go by their nationality whether they are from Egypt or Northern Sudan. You rarely hear them say "nubian-american", they simply say "ana misr" or "Sudani". Until you get to know them they will say i am nuba from aswan or min Cairo or or ana nuba min wadi halfa sudan or any other area within nuba.

Here is a nubian get together in Washington DC.

nubian wedding photos in Egypt.

I hope this help people.

To most people Nubia/Nubian refers to specific people in North Sudan and not some kind of pan-African identity. I feel sorry for them that their ethnonym is becoming so hijacked by wannabes.

They actually have recent verifiable ancestry from those places, unlike you.

It was a Nubian who was being interviewed by Professor Gates who used the term Nubian-Americans to classify African-Americans.

Indeed, some do especially in the tourist market areas within Egypt, but being nubian is more than similarity of skin color, it is a great deal more deeper than that, but everything being equal it is all good.!

If so, why not call yourself a ''Dinka American''? Is it because they weren't as (historically) awesome as the Nubians?

Very true, Most titles that western society has placed on people of so-called african origin are generally invalid. Example- Negroid: just comes from the term negro, sub saharan is also invalid because thats taking away the fact that blacks live in North africa and even as far north as Iraq. Nubia was the original name as far as archaeological and historical evidence of Africa. The term Nubian was used for all africans just like terms like Moor,Ethiopian,Aboriginal etc.....

You know very little about the ancient history of Northeast Africa and you cling desparately on the term "Black"etc because it is the only identity that you have since your Slave Master had given you that term in the first place
You're not Nubian nor are you a neighbour or even linked to that specific group so stop trolling "Wannabe". I could easily call myself an "Ethiopian" or "Oromo" because I have ancestral roots from Ethiopia. However, I do not engage in their culture nor does my family indentify themselves as "Ethiopians", but specifically "Turkana" or "Kenyan/African". Get your own indentity! No offense!!
Many if not all West Africans have little to no roots to Nubia/Kush...

Europeans know very little about Africa and believe all its success is linked to Europeans arriving in Africa to establish a civilization or something of a similar matter.
