I think Dominican women would be the most qualified to answer this question, and we only have one on here.
Its strange to divide it up with color/racial labels though, but I guess its the norm for the forum. From personal experience, its the same preference as other women:

-Socioeconomics>than anything else. The guy gets 'better looking' the higher the socioeconomic class.
I've never come across any Dominican woman with any particular 'racial' fetish similar to say some males from other nationalities.
Have you heard the saying that goes by: "Ser blanco es una profesion"?

Hmm I would have thought Dominican women liked intermediate types more for DR instead of straight Euro (blanco) or straight Afro (prieto) men.

I've never heard it, but I've read it on a certain forum we both post on which race topics have been banned

I would also add: Don't be a pariguayo, I think thats pretty much standard and has nothing to do with looks but your confidence, 'swagger', etc.

That was usually the case on former decades, but materialism have been on the rise from a decade or so here. If you're a net provider, then all the other things are secondary.

He is asking about the preference of our women, primo, not ours.
LOL whoops, it didn't read that way I guess especially since we only have 1.5 Dominican women on here.

Oh well, that's my opinion in case of a future poll.

First things first:

1) When most women, regardless of background, tell you an answer, please note that they are more than likely giving you a socially conditioned one (what they think sociiety says is the right thing to say). She can say 'I like them like this and that' and fall for the complete opposite.

2) I know this being an Anthro forum, race/color takes center stage, but irl its nothing like this, there are no absolutes, etc.

From what I've seen, anyone looking from phenotypes similar to Denzel to Chayanne to Alex Rodriguez, etc.

lol I'd rather not, but I can tell based off dating and marriages. They all seem to marry their shade or lighter except 2 that married indios (medium brown).

LOL, when my mom was alive I asked her what kind of men she preferred growing up in Colombia.

Me neither, lol, although my mom and maternal prima clearly deviated from the established canon of their Canarian-PR forebears. The latter is married to a choloid Colombian in the US Army's payroll.

I don't consider it taboo at all and I'm sure if I asked my mom she would answer without hesitation but it just isn't the normal sort of conversation I have with my mother.

The observation suffices, really.

Because they clearly belong to populational segments that DO hold racist views.
