Unreal... Very sad, and you know the Dave Duerson brain damage lawsuit will be linked eventually.

It kind of linked in my brain right away. I thought of Andre Waters immediately.

They cut him open and find his brain has holes all through it....maybe in areas that control depression and emotions perhaps.....this will be another log on that fire.

The day that the players finally get penalized for bounties and this stuff happens. Crazy coincidence.

It's to bad he didn't go about advocating concussion awareness another way.

You don't see football guys come on to talk about players very often and lose it on air. Everyone that has been interviewed on ESPN so far has broken down. Says a lot about how much he was respected and loved. Makes it even more sad to know how many people would ahve been there for him.

I try to eat at his restaurant every time I am in San Diego. I actually talked to him for a while one time back in the 90s when he was still a Charger. He was a very jovial guy. Talked to everybody that night.

I saw him again when I was there in September, He was sitting at a patio table a couple of tables from ours. He was sitting with a bunch of big guys, so it was probably Charger players. He seemed to be in a good mood then.

RIP Junior. I enjoyed watching your career.

And this is why I have no problem with how Roger Goodell is handling the bounty situation.
