As much as I really don't care for either team, especially their owners, I totally agree with them filing their grievance against the league and NFLPA. If it's an uncapped year and the teams can afford to pay gaudy money to their players for that year, do it. The gentleman's code goes out the window when regulations expire, IMO. This league is about winning, and getting the best people to help you. Hell, considering both teams sucked that year and missed the playoffs altogether that year and last year, despite having rediculous player payrolls, that should be punishment enough. They couldn't capitalize on their spending sprees and both teams probably regressed in that year. |
