And you're one of those you-should-be-thanking-me-for-tuning-in-to-see-you-play types.
Huh? Not sure where you're going with that. Im old school. I believe you should work for what you have. Im not saying he didnt, just be a bit more appreciative for what is being offered.

so you're saying you are a Tebow fan?
Not in the least. He does come off as a humble guy though, which I can appreciate.

And I don't see where you get that I'm entitled.

You don't think he appreciates the opportunity to play pro football. Why? Because he didn't want to play for the Chargers? So what if he was offered the #1 overall pick. He didn't want it if it meant San Diego. He worked hard and he earned this opportunity. And he wanted to play somewhere else. You think he should just shut up and sign the deal in front of him? I think pro athletes should use any and all leverage they can to get the deal that they want. Because the league and the teams are not looking out for their best interests.

Fortunately for us.
i'm not saying otherwise. teams/fans can get turned off by silliest of things. but if they play well, all is forgiven.

But if a GB fan is going to rip Eli for being arrogant, I would note, Rodgers isn't exactly model of humility.

Most great players are brash.

So is Cris Carter.
You can find multiple posts of me calling cris carter an asshole. Even amongst a group of entitled athletes, Carter stands out. He's still one of my favorite Vikings. Had he been an asshole and gave minimal production, well....

EDIT: I think I just caught what you were saying.....doh.

Carter is a great player, better than James Lofton.

My point is-he didnt play a single down in the NFL and he's dictating where he wants to go? Bullshit, prove yourself first.

Remember that was led by his father, who HAD played in the NFL, and who had a bad relationship with Spanos.

Elway!

Hell, some people thought Luck went back to school because he didn't want to go to Carolina.

My point is that he didn't have to prove anything. There were other teams interested in his services. We're not talking about a player just hoping to catch on somewhere. We're talking about the #1 overall pick. All that hard work paid off and he got to cash in on it.

You think you're old school. I think you think that the sport is somehow sacred, and that's Eli's skill is a lottery ticket.

Did something come out in the pass month, or so that there dad said that Payton wouldn't want to play for the Colts anymore if they drafted Luck?

So much for that with the Colts most likely in re-building mode.

If true, must not have minded Indy.

Could have gone back again.
