Default Who blew it worse
Williams or Cundiff?

Man, both have to feel like shit.

After seeing the look on the Ravens players after that missed field goal, I'd be afraid to go in the locker room.

Ravens needed to call a timeout after Cundiff ran on the field with like 15 seconds left on the play clock, he looked super rushed.

Lee Evans should have held onto that TD pass. He's damn lucky Cundiff stepped up to be the goat and overshadow that play.

Agree with Lem on the timeout. It really looked like they snapped that ball about 2 seconds before they wanted to to stay in their normal rhythm. The thing with SF is that they were great at the TO game in the regular season but didn't execute in the playoffs when it mattered most. One turn over led to a TD and of course the last one led to the game winning FG.

That was a good defensive play though too.

No reason a kicker should miss a 30 yard FG.

I agree about missing the 30 yd kick, but Evans had the game won if he hadn't relaxed on that catch after the ball hit him the chest. Flacco threw that ball on target.

I'm surprised they didn't review that play, I thought he got both feet down and had control prior to being stripped.

Nah, the new rule says he has to maintain possession until he boards the plane.

it's the whole you need to maintain control B/S to confuse everyone on what is a catch.

It all seemed viking choke job esque

I'm leaning toward Williams mainly because he twice lost the ball on punt returns, and that ended up leading to 10 of the Giants' 20 points.

I should have waited before I commented, I've read up on it now. I was watching from afar in the hospital, and didn't see the play clock. There should have been a timeout called, the whole thing was rushed. Williams blew it more.

Williams is the reason the Giants both tied it and won it. Cundiff should have just kicked an extra point, as Evans should have made that catch.

Without a doubt Lee Evans is the goat here. He should have put a vice grip on that ball. As soon as the team, coaches and the fans at the game see the replay, they will see how close there were to winning the game right then. Cundiffs FG would have only tied the game. Evan holds the ball, that he already caught, and they win.

this.

the field goal attempt was probably more harbaugh's fault than cundiff's but whatever, you could the the special teams gaff in the 9'er game was a harbaugh boner too. its the championship game, pull that dude out.
