Default CBS Looking To Add Tebow To Broadcast Team
Just when you thought Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow was down; like a phoenix, he rises from the ashes. Tebow and the Broncos were last seen Saturday night walking off the field after getting shellacked by Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

The former Florida Gators quarterback couldn’t muster any offense in the game and was outclassed on the field by Brady.
But, Tebow has been a ratings draw for CBS and now, the network wants to get Tebow in the studio this Sunday for the AFC Championship game.

It turns out the season really is over for Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow after he declined an invitation to appear on CBS’s NFL Today this Sunday. CBS had asked Tebow to sit down for NFL Today with Shannon Sharpe and the rest of the gang before the AFC Championship game.

He probably didn't want to embarrass Sharpe by asking him to repeat everything he says.

They could bring back Jerry Garcia for one of those Pre-Game Commercial/Promotional Gabfests, and I still would not watch it.

CBS is great for the speech impediment comedy value.

Still not worth it to me. I cannot remember the last time I watched a Network or E$$N pre-game show. I may catch some of the local pre-game if it is a Home Game just to get some feel of the crowd and the latest info, but even they mostly just repeat the obvious, and promote whatever show comes on next or their Post Game show.
I just want to see the game.
Obviously since these things keep expanding, I am in the minority.

I think we all know the real reason he declined

I agree 100%

8 guys in a semi-circle talking over each other. The last 10 minutes is them making their picks and keeping track of who is ahead in the standings. Like anybody fucking cares.

Just a stupid waste of time.
