Default The real effect of moving kickoffs to the 35
Scoring is up, but barely. Only 2 points per team.

Yardage is up an average of 172 yards per team.

So drives are longer, teams pile up yards that don't neccessarily add up to points.

The lack of hitting on defense to avoid big money fines probably has more to do with the increased yardage and scoring than the kickoff rule changes.

Scoring is only up 2 points per team. Less than a FG per team.
