I am going to enter this under 2011's 10 most depressing features.

Sorry, Cam Newton is underpaid?

Well in College he was overpaid.

Lets throw Wes Welker a fund raiser.

I just don't see how these guys can survive.

Dumb list to the most part. Most of them are on their rookie contracts.
I agree.

It's also only based off salary, which is stupid.

That was lame. $22million Cam has guaranteed. WTF, why are they looking at base salary when he got a ton up front and a ton is guaranteed.

Rodgers I wouldn't say is underpaid, but he's a good deal at 7.5 million. Compared to Brady $18 million per year, Eli $16.25 million per year, and Peyton $14 million per year.

He's being compared to those guys and may have a similar resume soon if he gets an MVP this year. I'm sure the packers will be giving him a raise soon.

One day a week? Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they're not working.
I understand that, they train and do work very hard to play a game for a living. I still don't think athletes should be paid what they are paid.

Basically every major college player is underpaid.

when their weekly paycheck is more than most people make in a year, I have a hard time sympathizing with this list. Seriously, they "work" one day a week and get paid a s##t ton. Our priorities are f##ed up in this country.
So the rest of the week they are sitting on the beach or by the pool?

Rodgers has same contract as tony romo
That just means that Romo is overpaid.

Very weird, subjective list. It's a joke that DeSean Jackson isn't on that list, while Rodgers already has $39 million in his pocket and Cam Newton is guaranteed $22 million after getting a $14 million signing bonus.

Why is Welcker underpaid?

He catches a bunch of 6 yard passes and led the league in drops last year.

Tore up his knee the year before.

Were the Patriots suppossed to committ big money to a guy with a bum kneee?

Too many RBs on the list also.

Go ahead and throw big money at a very replaceable position and see where that gets you.

Dumb list.
